The Raise
EUCannaJobs is currently doing its first fundraising (the seed round) to increase our staffing and marketing in order to be able to bring more candidates and companies onto the platform. Additional staff will also allow us to increase our services offered.
Current Status
EUCannaJobs is the largest cannabis jobs platform in Europe and at the top of Google search results, achieved organically. We have dozens of companies as clients and over a dozen media partners. Our candidate visits are increasing by double to triple digits month on month.
Challenge
The European cannabis industry is already growing quickly and that growth will increase as adult-use legalization occurs. Companies are competing for limited candidates against all other industries while being limited by advertising restrictions on most platforms. Candidates have difficulty finding companies and jobs among the tens of thousands of other jobs on general jobs platforms.
Solution and Revenue Model
EUCannaJobs provides one platform where companies can post their jobs and candidates can find out about companies, industry news and search for cannabis jobs in all of Europe. Our primary revenue is from pay-per-job-post fees but we will also have additional fee-for-service items such as head-hunting and premier placement of companies and jobs. Advertising will be available on our platform and in our app.
Market and Advantage
The European market is expected to be the largest single legal market in the world once adult-use legalization occurs. The current medical market is worth about $5 billion. Estimates go to over $50 billion by 2027, assuming legalization progresses. We are the first to market at this scale and are already at the top of Google searches. By building on this success, we can stay in front of any later competitors.
