The first shipment of medicinal cannabis grown in Portugal by Akanda arrived in Germany earlier this week, according to a release of the company’s press. This is the first shipment under the agreement signed last month with the German company Tired.
Akanda Corporation announced its first shipment of cannabis flowers to Germany in a press release, but the actual amount shipped was not disclosed. It is known, however, that these are flowers with a high THC content, not subject to irradiation, according to the information released. It is the first expedition related to the agreement announced last month for the supply of cannabis flowers to the German market, through the German company Cansativa.
